Been having charging issues with my Infinix Zero purchased less than 2weeks ago from Konga and I thought it was peculiar to me. Then I went to meet a colleague who bought same phone and she was charging with a blackberry charger! She too complained of charging issues.

a little search on the internet brought this up. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

download Mobile uncle MTK tools from playstore open and click Engineer mode>>Engineer mode (MTK)>>click on connectivity>CDS information>>Radio information>>select either phone 1 or 2 depending on d sim you want 2 change you will see a box with AT+ click on it and add E suggestions will arise click d one with 1,7 for sim 1 or 1,10 for sim 2 put the new IMEI inbetween the two inverted commas. Click on the back of the + and click spacebar den click send AT command a pop up will show AT command sent (mine said AT command msent).
Reboot your phone.
Dial *#06# to confirm. Change access point to blackberry.net if you changed to BB IMEI

funny thing is, i have been using my Zero since 10.30pm last night after leaving it on the charger for an extra 2 hours. it is connected to the internet through wifi cos i am yet to cut my sim. been using it to tweet, browse and play asphalt since about 7am and i still have 47& left. i am trying to run it down so that i can charge it again... that also prolongs the life of the battery.
but i guess 3G/H+ gulps more battery. here is a screenshot.

ignore the time on my device, i am using +2 timezone. as i am yet to use a network sim on it, it wont change automatically. and i'm yet to change it manually.

"Tecno" let the battery drop to 5% and then charge it to 100%, unplug charger and then show me a screenshot of it after heavy usage. Add Me on BBM 2708C356.

I have no reason to lie. I am not a staff of infinix. I have done 2 reviews of this phone. What I am doing now is a test so I can post it on an updated review. I posted the screenshot on purpose for this who don't believe. I have been trying to run the battery down so I can charge of again and whenever I like. But as I type this, I have 37% percent left. I have taken a screenshot too so you can see once again. I have nothing to prove.
And I make use of my other phone's hotspot as wifi.
This is just a WiFi test. I will do the same once I cut my etisalat sim and test with 3G.
You might be a tecno fan, but I am not. If anything, I am a Samsung fan but generally crave for good android devices with good enough specs at prices almost anyone can afford, compared to apple products.

Here are the screenshots. Once again, my time is in +2 GMT but that shouldn't matter. Merely stating it for skeptics like you.

Gionee m2 battery is better, it supports otg and it doesn't get hot

Well, I wouldn't say This is absolute, but it has worked on the 2 devices I tested. I charged it after it was delivered. it took close to 2 hours to charge completely. But I left it for an additional 2 hours 30 minutes(approximately) . then I switched it on, and it has been on since then. Once again.. On WIFI

Sincerely, battery is a big ish to this phone! It falls so fast even on edge without playin any game. Charger spoilt d second day I bought d phone! I m nt happy atall. If u ar a gamer or heavy internet user I will advic u 2 stay away frm dis phone. . N.B- no fuckin person shuld quote me.
