Doctors in Nigeria today August 7th, suspend their 5 week old strike to help fight against the deadly Ebola virus in the country. In a statement released by the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, the doctors listed “the incursion of Ebola into Nigeria” as a main reason for suspending the strike. Meanwhile, Lagos state government, yesterday through the Commissioner for Health, Dr Idris Jide, had appealed to striking doctors to call of their trike so as to help contain the spread of the Ebola virus. . source http://naijaparrot.com/nigerian-doctor-suspend-strike-ebola/
