Despite the assurances of IGP Abba, crisis seems to be brewing among men of the Nigeria Police.
Vanguard gathered that most of the Police personnel deployed from Lagos State to assist in the election may have been abandoned.

“We are stranded here in Osun State. We have been in Osun State now for five days but we have not been cartered for. No one has come around to take care of us, no accommodation or feeding. We are over 475 regular police officers deployed from Lagos State but our welfare has not been taken care of,” a source said and appealed to those in charge to look into the issue.
