I just started learning Java programing language(self taught).
I have written some programs with netbean8.o and they run perfectly. My problem now is the next step to follow and make my applications .apk(for android) or blackberry so that I can share to my friends.

please is not a complex application is just a like a simple calculator.

Netbeans allows you create setup for exe,
As for apk is a different story entirely

You need to download the android software development kit (SDK) in other to develop android apps!
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

you will also need to learn the Android API for java (since you're pretty cool with java that won't be a problem).
