Are you of those who abhours discussing the religious extremism in the core North with someone from there, answers like " it's the president and the south sponsoring the terrorists"? Well, some reactions on Facebook show that some core Northerners are not towing the El Rufaiesque and Co bull crap of looking at the things, they know failed leadership played the key role.

THESE ARE YOUNG ALMAJIRIS IN THE NORTH!
These boys have no idea of their ages, they don't even know the name of their village and not even the name of their own Malam. I asked them the name of their village, one of them says, "kusa da Kano" meaning, their village is somewhere near Kano.
Some of them have rashes all over their bodies and have no shoes.

‘’ Borno State has a budget twice that of Enugu State but the poverty and unemployment level in Borno State is more than thrice that of Enugu State. Borno has a bigger budget than a Niger Delta state – Cross River. While the leaders of Cross River over the last decade have transformed it into the nation’s leading tourist destination; those of Borno have transformed it into a Somalia.
Kano State gets the highest statutory allocation from the Federal Government, because on paper Kano is the most populated state in Nigeria, yet Kano has about 1.6 million destitute Almajiris. Kano has a budget almost thrice the budget of Enugu, twice the budget of Kwara, Anambra and Ekiti, but how come almost 90 per cent of students in Kano fail WAEC? How come the poverty level in Kano is higher than all these states put together?’’.

@Ops, what if the boy had said Aso Rock achikin Kano .

Th true of the matter on current state of the Nation called Nigeria ( Yes Nigeria! And not only the North) is a product of successive failed leadership.

If only we can see and treat our elected as leaders and not kings then progress/development is bound to set in, else...

Hosea 4:6 - my people perish from lack of knowledge.

It's too bad these Almajiris don't know who their real enemies are - their present and past leaders who have looted their destinies away. Atiku with all the money he looted doesn't give a squat about his town's people. From IBB to other past Nothern rulers, none care about their state's masses. They'd rather them remain in poverty and illiteracy so they can serve as destructive weapons for these wicked rulers whenever they want.

Check out all the tales about these Almajiris/Boko Haramists, they usually retrace back in their abode - the FOREST, after each raid. If Borno and other Northern states were developed like Lagos and Abuja, they won't find easy bushes/forest to hide. So much backwardness and illiteracy has eroded any human conscience and sense in these Almajiris, thus rendering them as terrorist tools. It's so sad. sad

Well said; any region would have its own peculiar problem, like you rightly implied, relating to failed leadership.

Please don't mind the OP; we already know his politics, he is a disgruntled element playing hard to identify with where he does not belong and would never be accepted - a political orphan, stranded in no mans-land; like the hapless quoted almajiri, unable to find his way home.

@OP:
My man from NOK but taking refuge in southern Kaduna, its seems your culture of burkutu and dog meat had taken its toll on you yet again; yeah, since when did a ROSS ALABO-GEORGE become a typical example from the core north - couldn't you have done better?

Most people doesnt even understand that the people make the society. South is not more developed than the north because of better leader but its people. The best the goverment can do is to educate and enlighten its people, but real development come from the people.
We all know that the level of infrastructural development(especially road) in the north is the best in the country(except now that states like lagos, rivers akwa ibom are overtaking them).
