RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the daily operations of the online business, overseeing fulfillment of orders and shipping logistics; customer service; updating HTML-based web content; working with Managing Director to assure appropriate staffing and inventory levels; maximizing the capabilities of the POS system, and trouble-shooting when needed to assure smooth operations of Topdowndeals.com

• Working with Management, Social Media Coordinator to initiate and implement promotions for holidays and special events, keeping the online store lively, fast-paced and current. Manager will be expected to develop and upload changing content to the online store regularly, maintaining a sophisticated, contemporary esthetic for the store.

• Seeking a true omni-channel retail experience for customers, manager will coordinate retail promotions with third party vendors, which may include companies such as Price Check Nigeria, OLX, Dealsdey, Kaymu, and other possible promotional opportunities.

• Manager will be the point person in managing the POS system for the online store, acting as in-house tech supervisor for the stores.

• Manager will represent Topdowndeals.com on marketing and social media promotions, events and sponsorships held in Nigeria. He/she will be expected to stay current with regard to trends in online retailing, assuring that the Topdowndeals store stays up to date and attractive to customers.

• Manager will understand web analytics and use them to inform decisions that will steadily grow the business. Manager will maintain statistics on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis, using data to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns, outreach and product mix, and preparing reports.

• Manager will reconcile sales data with bank account activity, assuring impeccable internal controls.

• Manager will manage all shipping and logistical issues with current Nigerian Couriers and work on improving services with current couriers and seek new opportunities to improve our service with new couriers.

• Manager will be responsible for effective communication between all Topdowndeals employees such as Social Media Coordinator, Customer Service and Logistics Personnel. Manager will Conduct Mandatory Weekly Meetings with all personnel to plan weekly strategy. Ensure all employees submit a daily Work list to ensure all tasks are being completed.

• Manager will seek new marketing opportunities to grow Topdowndeals.com via offline and online marketing.

• Manager will be responsible for formulating weekly emails to customers with assistance from Social Media Coordinator.

• Manager will be responsible for ensuring all employees update all required status documents such as shipping, orders, payment and etc.

• Manager will be responsible for checking inventory count in storage on a quarterly basis to ensure products in inventory correspond with Products being sold online.


Qualifications
Must have a demonstrated marketing savvy and familiarity with on-demand retailing.
Must be an innovative and creative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collegial environment.
Familiarity with existing, successful e-commerce ventures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to oversee third-party contracts.

Education and Experience
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience managing an online store.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Candidates must have knowledge of RetailPro, HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Google
• Analytics, e-commerce platforms, web design, data base management, shipping logistics, on line customer service.
• Website development and HTML Knowledge a plus
