It’s time to make my predictions for the 2014-15 Premier League season. I’m amazed by how much the Men in Blazers, the Manchester Evening News, and NBC’s two Robbies, Earle and Mustoe, have the same exact predictions as myself. I’m picking Chelsea to be champions, as did many of these pundits, and Manchester United to get back into the Champions League, with a 3rd place finish.
I think Man United will again regain the upper hand in their rivalry with Liverpool, as I think the Reds will finish just outside the CL.
Sports Bank Predictions:
Champions: Chelsea
2nd: Arsenal
3rd: Man United
4th: Man City
5th: Liverpool
6th: Tottenham
Just missing out on Europa League I have Everton in seventh. I’m not doing relegation picks. I happen to agree with M.E.N. when it comes to these individual honors predictions too:
Golden boot: Robin van Persie
Golden gloves: Tim Howard
Star man: David Silva
Emerging talent: James Wilson
The Men in Blazers show (by the way, here what’s they said when I asked them about Manchester United’schances and Liverpool’s chances this season) will follow NBC’s weekend Premier League coverage, Bennett will serve as an analyst on television, providing on-site features from the U.K. and making monthly studio appearances. He will also write long-form for NBCSports.com.
A special, online only Men in Blazerswill be available on Friday of every Premier League match week. The videos, along with their weekly podcast, will be housed in a Men in Blazers section on NBCSports.com. Follow Men in Blazers on Twitter
They did a media conference call yesterday, and on it I asked them who I think will win the title.
