A 23-year-old African-American man has been shot dead today by police officers in St Louis, Missouri after allegedly robbing a convenience store with a knife.
The man charged at officers waving a knife when he was killed around 12.30pm in the north of the city, Police Chief Sam Dotson said on Tuesday.
The shooting took place outside the Six Stars Market, four miles from the unrest in Ferguson over last week's cop shooting of a black teenager.

No officers were injured in today's incident. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect stole two energy drinks, according to KMOV, left the store but then returned to take a pastry.

He wasn't shot because he robbed a store. It's because he's black. Supposing it was a white man doing that, they'ld have waited till he surrenders. By the he was holding a knife and not a gun.
