Something needs to be done about the drainage system at Uselu shell benin city, its more like an ocean today, vehicles are going off in the rain people are stranded. If this rain continues uselu will be cut off from the rest of benin

I still wonder the rationale behind constructing roads and not constructing water ways/ drainage. Seems like no one cares abt the effect of erosion on these road.
Maybe the roads are to serve the present political parties and when they leave, the next party constructs its own road.

You lied. If this pictures posted here are of recent, then the flooding must be blamed on the Federal Govt, because when the Edo State Govt wanted to construct the road, though a Federal Road, the Hon. Minister of works kicked against it, saying the State Govt has no business with the road because it is a Federal Road. You can't put the blame on the Oshiomole, but on the Federal Ministry of Works.

More pictures, took the pictures while I was driving. The only reprieve is that the flood receedes into the adjourning streets but it. Aint palatable for residents of those streets. The transporters at uselu park had to vacate their park. The only reasonable flood control so far is the one at five junction which then could compete with atlantic ocean. The pictures were taken like an hour plus ago. Really don't know who to blame now whether federal or state government

Why blame the FG? The FG placed a very good drainage system on that road but the main streets that are suppose to collect and channel the water are blocked
