1. meta content=’Blog Description’ name=’description’
This is the meta tag used to show a crawler the brief description of your blog. It’s called “meta description”. Remove “Blog Description” and put your own blog’s description.

2. meta content=’Keywords′ name=’keywords’
This is the meta tag used to insert hidden keywords to your blog. Paste your keywords in place of “Keywords”. You can add as many keywords as possible, but remember, 6 or 7 keywords are better for SEO.

At first you have to make a keyword analysis of your niche then find the important and relevant keywords for your blog then select and push the meta keywords in your blog.

3. meta content=’Author Name’ name=’Author’
This is the meta tag used to specify the author of the blog/article/post. You can use your name or g+ profile link in the place of Author Name. By this meta tag you can verify authorship on Google+.

4. meta content=’G+ Publisher Page URL’ name=’Publisher’
This meta tag is used to verify publisher page at Google+. Use your Google+ page url in place of “G+publisher page URL”. This is very important for multi-author blogs.

5. meta content=’Author Email Address’ name=’Email’
This meta tag is used to specify a mail address of the author. Use your email address in the place of “Author Email Address”.

6. meta content=’index, follow’ name=’robots'
This meta tag specifies the permissions for a search engine crawlers or bots.
“Index” gives the permission to take the article in your blog to search engines.

10. meta name=”copyright” content=”name of owner"
To protect your text and Images from copying you have to use this meta tag. Use the author name or the publisher name in the place of “name of owner”.
