When the issue of abduction of over 200 girls from Chibok school was announced 4 months ago, It attracted the pity of all well meaning Nigerians and some foreign countries especially on their parents. I was not left out and some well respected Nigerians and others embarked on the bring back our girls campaign which then engulfed some social media and live protests with a # key "#bringbackourgirls"
Some Nigerians even said that it was a scam. Hmm! According to the media, the President invited the School Principal and the Parents of the said girls of which the discussions were not exclusively disclosed. I hope the presidency took records of all the actors involved in this movie-like actions.


On August 19th, Aljazeera News broadcasted an unconfirmed report that 85 men were abducted from Gwoza and later we heard that they were intercepted alongside with their abductor somewhere in Niger Republic. Please May I ask my fellow N'landers a question; why hasn't there be any unconfirmed report from Aljazeera or other foreign media about the discharge of 5 Ebola patients from quarantine centre in Lagos? or has their correspondence in Lagos all been sent to Prison? I think Egyptian Governments understands the role of these media house better.

Fast forward to August, 21 2014, It was also gathered that the parents of the abducted girls had already performed the burial ceremonies of their abducted girls even when both side of the party involved assures that the girls are still alive but gave conditions for their release. They went as far as ordering the Federal government to bring back the corpse of their girls. If there was no abduction in the first place, how and where do they want the FG to manufacture the corpse from, Hmm! Maybe the producer of this movie want to hold the FG on the ball, Time will tell.

Just today, Aljazeera, also broadcasted a video claiming that Boko haram has seized the Gwoza Local Government and hosted their flag. It will be recalled that the modus operandi for Boko haram is to back up any of their claims with evidence, how come there has not been any video evidence showing Shekau or his boys in the said LGA enviroment or with their flag hosted there? something is definetly wrong with the recent reports about Boko haram and their operations in Nigeria. This could be a propaganda and It's been fueled by foreign media especially Aljazeera to instigate more crisis in Northern Nigeria.

Mr OP, You are still on this matter. Your president said he knows where the girls are....you are still here doubting. If there was no campaign about the girls....the FG would have swept the matter under the carpet long time ago....as they have done to the missing $20bn. And for your info....what happened in Adamawa is real...lost a soldier friend and an officer. The officer is just a 2nd lieutenant that passed out a year ago.

Since the Egyptian govt. arrested & jailed 5 Al Jazeera journalists, the propanda war mounted by Al jazeerah against the Egyptian govt. in favour of muslim brotherhood died down.
If insurgents crave for media attention as we all know, then the foreign media is with their skewed reporting & hype of boko haram activities are actually a major motivator for insurgency in the north.
