The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as an unprecedented national embarrassment the seizure of a Nigerian town by the terrorist group, Boko Haram and the reported fleeing of 480 Nigerian soldiers to Cameroon during an attack on a military base in Gamboru-Ngala on Monday. In a statement issued in Lagos on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Lai Mohammed, the party called on President Goodluck Jonathan to urgently address Nigerians on the worsening security situation in the north that has allowed Boko Haram to proclaim its rule over a part of the nation’s territory. The statement said: “In the face of the biggest threat to Nigeria’s unity and territorial integrity since http://secret2020.com/apc-calls-nigerian-soldiers-foray-into-cameroon-a-national-embarrassment/ |

APC should withdraw this Statement forthwith. It is so unpatriotic and unnecessary playing politics with the insurgency war. No one is happy with the latest development I'm sure not even the President. We all need to encourage our Soldiers while we continuously call for improved funding and not condemn them. Its better they run to restrategize than they all DIE. Lai Mohamed should understand that National Security is not to be used in politics. We don't have a choice but to rally behind the President and Military chiefs while we continue to criticize constructively in other to motivate and not demoralise them. We must win this war God bless the Military God bless the C-in-C God bless Nigeria 6 Likes |
