BREAKING: NFF 'Congress' has just elected a new President in the person of Chris Giwa against the directive of FIFA. Nigeria we hail thee! FIFA sledgehammer looms again; and this time, Nigeria may be disqualified from the AFCON qualifier against Congo -- thus paving the way for the Congolese and South Africa to qualify.


This election won't stand the test of time:

1. Giwa is indicted by a panel that investigated him for fraud and embezzlement.

2. Both FIFA and CAF were supposed to send a delegate to monitor the election and they did not because there was a clear directive from the body to postpone the election today.

3. Maigari and some State FA Chairmen, who were supposed to be part of the delegates are still clamped into detention.
