Just watched an episode of top gear where a toyota prius 1.5Litre engine drove round the track with a BMW 3 series (E90) 4 liter V8 following closely. They moved at a fairly slow speed (the highest speed that the Prius could attain). At the end of it all the the Prius did 17 miles per gallon while the BMW did 19. So we fall back on the discussion that its not the car you buy but the way you drive it. |
