Of all the countries in Africa, CAF could not get referee from anywhere except Ghana. The ref and keshi certainly against the Super eagles. Keshi looking clueless and has failed to justify the millions NFF is paying him

Btw I'm starting to get suspicious of Ejide again, he didn't really attempt to save any of the 2 goals. I know he was badly exposed by the defenders but he could have done better.

It's difficult to see a way back into this game for the eagles as the congolese are not giving them space and time on the ball. Also there's a distinct lack of midfield flair, someone who can unlock the congolese defence with a killer pass. However I see the congolese tiring out in the second half because the intensity with which they played the first half will be difficult to sustain for 90 minutes. I will then expect Keshi to introduce fresh legs to exploit that tiredness and the resultant loss in concentration

dabossman:

And who told you they didn't prep. They have already played two qualifiers with Rwanda to get to this stage. That means they have played two games recently. This is our first since June.

So what if it's your first game after Jesus had ascended to heaven? They are the African champion you put up or you shut up. That's what champs do.

Can't remember the last time,
Nigeria lost a competitive game
at home. Looks like that is on the cards tonight as the Congolese go into the break with a 1:2 lead.
