As a new convert. Pls am confused on this issue. Wich as to do with faith and holy spirit do you need both together ? 4 ur prayers to be answered ?

Like you can have faith without the holy spirit and still your prayer is answered ?

or

have the holy spirit nd have no faith is there chance ones prayer can be answered

or

you must have both before your prayers can be answered

help cuz i dnt knw hw it works.

You need both as a christian.
You need faith for your prayers to be answered:
"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)
We also need the Holy Spirit in prayers to make perfect prayers to GOD, interceding on our behalf both what we pray about and what we don't:
"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God." (Romans 8:26-27)

We also need both as a christian even when not in time of prayer.
