There's freedom of speech alright. You're free to post what you want. He's free to call your opinion bullcrap. I don't get what the problem is.

Another rather unfortunate, unschorlaly, derogatory invective from ChinenyeN, and yet the culture mods fold their hands and look on, as if it is a perfectly normal statement.

My question is: why would ChinenyeN attack an organization whose only 'crime' is to believe Nairaland is a social media forum where anyone can have a representation?
If ChinenyeN doesn't like whatever theories the organisation is propounding, why not put forward an intelligent argument, rather than casting libelous aspersion on the entire organization? Mods, we are waiting.

Nairaland is supposed to be like Facebook where organizations will have official monickers and flourish with a robust presense here, but with the Culture Section mods giving people like ChinenyeN a free hand to run riot and insult people anyway they seem fit, everyone who is happy with what Mr Osewa is doing with Nairaland should be concerned.

How can Nairaland grow when organisations that attempt to set up a presence are crudely attacked by members who cannot differentiate between civilized argument and crude barbaric drivel?

There is a difference between free speech and ughalama. There is a difference between sharing information and posting pseudo-scholar writeups. Your organization has apparently not yet learned this essential difference. You continue to post weak research and write up poorly thought out articles. You have done your own community a disgusting disservice with the incessant flooding of shi nama. You don't deserve to be handled with kid gloves, because with your writeups, your organization has single-handedly disrespected the existence, histories and traditions of the very communities you claim to be "defending". I stand by everything I have ever said concerning your organization, and I will take nothing back. You ought to be shut down.
