Yea, MPEG 4, HD is currently in vogue. And yes, you get better pic quality using MPEG 4. But that doesn't totally rule out the fact that MPEG 2 decoders can be used for signal reception, especially as there are still FTA signals.

This decoder lets you watch two diff channels on two diff TVs simultaneously. Suitable for MyTV channels - MFM, Emmanuel TV, KICC etc.

Best of all, you don't expect a person who has about 1,000 units of a decoder to keep quiet simply because it's MPEG 2?
