Obansanjo, shooting him today. He sustained
serious injuries to his legs, and was being
transported to the hospital at the time of this report.
Adeboye Obasanjo, an army engineer, was a
Lieutenant Colonel at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau
State. He and his platoon were engaged with Boko Haram
militants at Baza, which is the village of the General
Officer Commanding (GOC) of the division when the
incident took place.

Its actually not unexpected of a combatant, its only surprising that a son of a former general and president could be put at the battle front, we dont see such happening in todays world. its either Obj left his son to decide for himself as an adult or the son stubbornly didnt want to use his father's influence. For any reason, Adeboye shouldnt be @ the battle front. Its not a naija thing........we know recently that Prince William whose battalion provided air supplies to troops in Afghanistan was redeployed to avoid him being a target of the taliban.

Not Untill When our so called leaders will start sending their children to war front to protect nigeria b4 i will start taking them serious.

my friend read the post and understand it. he was shot at baza, not in plateau. Jus like Adeboye, many of the soldiers at the battle front have their primary station but were redeployed to the battle areas to render some form of assistance.
