Job Description Our client, growing in the courier industry with Head Office in Lagos is seeking for suitable candidates for the position of a Human Resource Manager. Summary of Responsibilities The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for providing overall leadership and management of the human resources thereby maximising the Group’s return on investments in its workforce; Lead in the development and execution of the Group’s HR strategic plans in manpower planning, recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management, compensation & benefits etc, in order to achieve overall quality, productivity, standard, and a superior workforce. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategic plan. Provide leadership in the HR planning, policy and program development. Develop an employee orientation company that emphasizes on quality, continuous improvement and a high performance. HR Processes such as, Recruitment, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Performance Management. Payroll management and ensuring that all mandatory deductions are made. Employee benefit administration i.e. pension, PAYE, HMO, etc. Assists and advise management in the planning and implementation of human capital goals consistent with the Group’s policies and mission; establishes accountability for achievement of human capital goals; monitors performance and provides feedback. Oversees the development, implementation, and security of human resources management and information systems; develops and maintains automated systems for staffing, strategic workforce planning, and other support activities for managing human capital. Acts as liaison with agencies and participate in meetings and conferences on human capital to share information and identify best practices for application for the company. Employee motivation and employee relations Manage relationships with external service providers Management of shared services budget; coordinate the employee benefits delivery in line with approved budget. Design of policies and procedural manual that can improve shared services Ensure compliance to all government and labour laws that would promote industrial harmony Ensuring employee safety and security at all times Ensuring effective cost control within the function Manage employees labour relations activities and Trade Union in order to insure that all appropriate statutory, regulatory and government-wide requirements is met in a timely and quality manner. Manage the learning management system of the Group. Advice and report on general human resources to the management. Perform any other duties or tasks not within the scope of the above stated duties as may be required by the CEO. Competency and skill areas: Thorough understanding of world class HR best practices in the field of Shared Services. Knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Law Appreciable contacts with relevant agencies and vendors Planning & Organizing skill Sound verbal and written skills Ability to handle pressure Customer focused Requirements: Relevant First Degree MSC will be an added advantage Associate member of CIPM is a relevant requirement 1-3 years post NYSC experience To apply send CV to sabzilconsults@yahoo.com or brief details to 08067864798 |
