is not d accreditation dat we talking about it d standards dat r required... Nigeria federal still needs more facilities to enhance both practical n theory knowledge, no qualitative tools to make more findings or research easy for students, some federal uni lack adequate and trained staff.

well I'll look at it from two POVs. the answer to ur question is
1. YES: I think they need to do more in the old ones out there than approving new ones when the infrastructure and everything is in the old ones are decayed.

please b honest with ur answer to this question
which university did u graduate from and what should the government put in place there instead of opening new universities

2. NO: the government did the right thing by approving new university because of this reason.. only last year over 1.5million candidates sat for the utme this year according to what I heard not from reliable sources though that the number was over 4 million.. how many students does each university admit not up to 10000 let's multiply 10000 with the number of universities will that cover the whole of the utme candidates no but with the approval of these new varsities, admissions are gained thereby curbing the population of unadmitted eligible candidates
