Many of us went to the university and don't even know what purpose took us there in the first place. The degree awarded for a program is not as important as the contents of the curriculum or the skills acquired by the recipient. I had the same notion until a friend of mine who graduated from University of Nebraska Lincoln told me people get Bachelor of Arts degrees in Computer science. This made me to research and learn more about degrees and my findings were salutary.
Some of us are deriding BSc degrees in Chemical engineering but you are not even educational experts yourself to question the designers. Do a bit of research when we see something new. That is how we learn and grow. Google is there, use it to your advantage.

Ehnehn... Nakarey. I hear u dey complain abt B.Sc and B.Eng. U see, these awards are just formalties. Sometimes, it depends on d school awarding d degree. Some schools award B.Sc, some B.Eng and some B.Tech. I believe Universities of technology awards B.Tech for engineering students. Everything is d same.

We awarded B.tech to sciences,B.edu to educations,B.eng to engineering
I had B.eng n I believe al dis tinz are for clarifications and therefore u can't call them same
