earth is the opposite of water while water quenches fire but fire does not always quench water.


earth is solid while water is liquid, so they are opposites.

doesnt mean fire is not also an opposite.

Some of your duplicates are actually supposed to be triplicates. Meaning triple, not double.

For example, heaven and hell are actually heaven, earth and hell.

Angels and demons are humans, angels and demons.

There are middle parts which you skipped.

Its not a this or that context, you should look at complementary instead of oppository.

Some terms which are complements of themselves, could be mistaken for opposites.

It depends on how you want to view it, its all in your mind.
