Even though there are more than 1022 known stars in the universe, each one is unique. No two stars have exactly the same properties. This may sound like guesswork, since we have analyzed very few stars in detail, but the conclusion is a certainty. A star has so many variables in its makeup that the probability of two identical stars is zero. These variables include the total number of atoms, exact chemical composition, size, temperature, and motion. Some stars show obvious color and brightness differences. Others require spectroscopic study to detect their particular identity or fingerprint. Similarly, it is also true that every snowflake, blad of grass, and grain of sand is unique. They may all look alike but they're not identical. On the microscopic level there is practically an infinite number of ways to arrange atoms. Even a single snowflake, for example, has about 1020 atoms to arrange within itself! Every individual object in the universe, no matter how large or small, shows God's distinct creative glory and artistry. The same is also true, of course, for every person on Earth. Re: The Educative Game by stamma(m): 6:11pm On Jun 14, 2009 |
ow11: you don't get the question, do you? Quartz is a Rock-Forming Minerals (Rock Crystal) Diamond What is the hardest rock if the diamond is not included? It is an igneous rock, classified under kimberlite. Kimberlite is a type of potassic volcanic rock best known for sometimes containing diamonds. It is named after the town of Kimberley in South Africa, where the discovery of an 83.5 carats (16.7 g) diamond in 1871 spawned a diamond rush, eventually creating the Big Hole. Granite is the signature rock of the continents. |

Re: The Educative Game by ow11(m): 6:37pm On Jun 14, 2009 |
stamma: Your question explicitly states rock and not 'rock forming mineral'. Quartz and diamond are not rocks but Minerals. The mohs hardness scale tells you that and a quick check on wikipedia will clear the air. Rocks are solid aggregates of minerals and minerals are not rocks by the mere fact that they exist in rocks. A white blood cell is not human even though it part of a human being comprende? Help yourself and rephrase the question! |

which of the following is/are not bacterial infections a) poliomyelitis b) tuberculosis c) influenza d) syphillis e) tetanus f) peptic ulcer g) measles |
Re: The Educative Game by Nobody: 7:22pm On Jun 14, 2009 |
dominique: no chance to go cross-check but i wager - polio (viral), influenza (virus), peptic ulcer (stomach lining acids) are not bacterial infections. |
Re: The Educative Game by ow11(m): 7:33pm On Jun 14, 2009 |
stamma: Queen Victoria was a woman and lasagne is a cheese dish so is not a pasta but then again grissini is also not a pasta but is made of flour like pasta while Madagascar is not in Europe while the other places are and luxembourg isn't an island while the others are! So I cannot be wrong as I did pick the odd parties! Your questions should be free from ambiguities to ensure only one possible correct answer. |
Re: The Educative Game by ow11(m): 7:34pm On Jun 14, 2009 |
dominique: Measles, Polio and Influenza |
