I have always wondered why some very interesting topics do not make front page, while some very unusual, annoying(pardon me, my view) makes it to the front page.

Is it that the MODs are been partial (my reason for posting under politics), or they only put forward what interest them.

Or, if the news does not have a viable source, it won't make front page.

Really, cos not all topics are actually news, some are very informative and by the time I view, I expect such informative news to make front page, it's then you will see one actress buying roasted yam along the road or "who wore it better " or "Tiwa Savage does not have fashion sense"

By now, I know it's not the number of comments or views, because I have seen some topics make front page even without a comment.

It's just funny, someone will go all the way to post informative stories/ideas et al. And yet, it's "dog enter gutter" that will make front page

Over to you Mr. Seun Osewa and the MODs..I'd appreciate a solid reason

in as much as I agree with u that some more interesting topics that may necessitate or attract much views r not moved to FP. I disagree with d above examples u gave.
those ones fall under entertainment.

and d 3 main functions of mass media are:
educate
inform
entertain
so don't complain when u c entertainment stuff on FP.

I knw some very interesting entertainment topics that didn't make it to fp while silly ones about tiwa this, tiwa that keep making it.
moreso , good entertainment gists attracts much views
then some good informative stories or news are left while useless ones like why cockroach dies upside down. hahahahahahaha I laugh tire when I saw it on FP.

Anyway, y will I b bothered about making FP or not. I don't care about it. if I make fine, if I don't fine. after all am not being paid for postings neither am I being paid for making FP.
