Gbenro Adegbola was former MD Evans Publishers until around 2012 or there about. When he was to leave the possition he carted away #500,000,000 from his employer at once and spent it on First Veritas.

The reason publishers like Macmillan didn't make it to the list is because they are among those that killed Nigerian literature. Publishers like them accept government offers and publish only books that would be read in schools. And we all know once government is involved, there would be partiality. But the publishers above are the ones that still offer writers a chance to put out their works and let the readers decide for themselves. And since online publishing is gaining attention in Nigeria, most of these publishers listed above help authors self publish online; giving the authors total control of their works.

I and my team at BookRepublicNG - progresspublishing. - originally drafted this list after several weeks of research. Blacktower Publishers was never and will never be on the list. I suspect one of the PR people at BlackTower Publishers chose to tamper with this list to enjoy undue patronage. I urge the administrators of Nairaland to take down this article as soon as possible. We will be taking up the management of BlackTower for this content theft!
