just wondering.... long time ago, there lies a time when just hearing the national anthem, u know news hour is here. and u could easily tell the time too.

but now, we hardly hear anything related to this song that binds us all!

this song that our fathers held in high esteem n gave their all to protect their father land.
they sang it with Joy in their joints and pride in their hearts
a song that reminds us all that not for not, was this nation born.

a song inspired by God himself , garnished with honor, guts and glory handed over to men of might.

what happened to a song that get men going in d face of obscurity? a song that give strength in d hour of despair ?
reminding us all boldly that the mantle is with us and we must at all cost and by all means serve/defend our father land come rain or shine?

what could have happened to this orb of liberty?
that many there be now that can't even recite it gallantly

to our core we must return!

Arise Oh compatriots
Nigeria's call obey
To serve our Fatherland
With Love and strenght and faith.
The labours of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain ,
To serve with hearth and might
One nation bound in freedom , peace and Unity!

to our root we must return
and hopefully, most of these problems be over

long live Nigeria
