Former Gombe State governor Danjuma Goje was yesterday arrested by the police in Gombe. Goje, who is a serving senator, was arrested by the Gombe State police commissioner Mohammed Abubakar who detained him for some hours. The former governor was visiting his local government, Akko, yesterday when he was arrested by the CP without any formal charge. Details of his arrest were scanty at the time of going to press .
