Front page topics are basically topics which everybody can contribute to. Not everyone can contribute to most topics from the programming section. Another thing is that front page topics are most times filled with useless posts, people'll just post something so they would be heard. 2 Likes |

IMHO,  This Section is mostly Technical. So putting it on FP is a criminal act.  Because Non-technical People would try to twist the meaning of the thread. And they wld surely bullshit the Op. 1 Like |

Moving a thread from programming section to front page will do much more harm to the thread than good. For instance, a thread on python was moved to front page sometimes ago and you start seeing comments like "why will they be writting program with python? What of other snakes like cobra" 1 Like |

Op console yourself, programmers are special the rest of d world are mundane. You dont need their attention, you've mastered d art of logical thinking and derive satisfaction from it. Let tht do u. If d non-logical world cud hav ur mind for a day, this section wud b overfloeng with members. But programmng isnt for every1,tht's y we're elite groups. Appreciated by intellectual rare breeds. |
