The Posting is absurd. Completely absurd. I have never seen an thing more absurd than this in my entire life. I thought they wanted to help the candidates but now I think its the school they wanted to o help.
Am sorry to say, all these old brains making policy at jamb should be discarded jhor. Didn't mean to disrespect those old men but this is trash. Walai even someone who score 170 in jamb can come up with a better solution as oppose the one those lazy thinkers cam up with.

Federal University in Delta state is science oriented i.e Federal University of Petroleum Effurun.

Just like FUTO in Imo state and IMSU usually have high applicants.

checked for some friends who both applied to unilorin ,one has been retained though he chose less competitive course, french and he scored 217 while the other has not been posted yet,that one score 182 and he chose mass communication.

Demand for foundation form has increased astronomically. who now says unilag isn't profiting from this. They admit most of their foundation applicants. 400k multiply by those who pick foundation form because of jamb policy, no wonder they refused to fight it, hiding under the law saying they have no power.

The quickest way to address this issue I think
should be
Jamb should categorize institution into 3 parts.
Those with excess demand
Those in equilibrum
Those with deficit demand
Those with excess demand and equilibrium will be
told to start their admission exercise earlier and
choose candidates. Then candidates with good
score who couldn't make it because there are not
enough space will be asked to apply to schools
with deficit demand. With that no one will be
protesting against jamb, many of us will be
praising them.
If u can think of any solution that can accommodate their policy abeg post am o. If u think a total reversal of their policy can be achieved, that may take a long time o or as any injunction been granted against conduct of unilag putme

I agree with you bro,they should let those competitive skuls conduct their pume first and release admission lists immediately ,then candidates that are not given admission can nw apply to those less competitive federal universities and state universities and try their luck there too and if they also fail to secure admission there too,then the blame will be on the candidates not jamb.
