mtcheeew..i have 3 names in all my docs. My birth certificate has 4 names(which include the first 3 and 1 other one).. They didn't even flinch at it.. It was screened by 3 officials who didn't even complain.. As long as it is an addition of one name ESPECIALLY in your birth certificate...i don't think there's any probs dude.. Ride on.. But if u don't feel safe with the security of those two names, then follow ibadanfinest's advice...

I have only one with me tho. Ma department screened me after the officials were done. They will sign on the two documents., take one and give you the remaining one. Telling you to take it to your faculty..

as long as the name on the new birth certificate is the same with the name on is other docs, NO PROBS.. but i think ur friend has to upload the new birth certificate..
