Hey, 9ice thread guys...

I'm an aspirant of Unilag Actuarial Science with GCE O'level (Maths, Eng, Econs, Bio, F/Maths, Govt) Jamb Combo (Eng, Maths, Econs & Govt). Jamb Score 237. COC form is out and mumcy is saying that i should pick one up coz Unilag is a competitive school, im not from catchment (Imo State) and departmental cutoff mark might sky-rocket due to unimaginable jamb score (250+ and above) + i dont wanna stay @home dis year. What course do u think i can put-in for OOU which is less lucrative and high chance of getting admission in OOU. Hoping for the best.

Hehehe... You know what? Last year, my Jamb combo was English, Maths, Geography and Econs...and I was on URP's merit list. I was even more scared than you....very scared! I checked their website and jamb brochure... My combo was so wrong. It wasn't until a lecturer assured me that THIS was the perfect combo for URP. I was screened without problems, same with some of my course-mates too who used the combo. Even the screening officers were just checking out for Geo and Econs! We'll be writing our first semester exams early next month...


Do not fret. If your fear moves you to pick a C.O.C form, well goodluck. But I can assure you you're on the right path, cuz I chose the same thing too... Don't listen to any side talks that would sway your belief. You chose the right subject combo... Lol. Quit worrying, owk?

Do not fret, young man. I repeat, you're on the right track... I was in your shoes few months ago, but everything went smoothly and fine. Just focus on passing your post utme, have your O' Level requirements and your necessary documents... Thats all.


My fear at that time could not be quantified, but now I can confidently assure you that combination IS accepted. However, if you insist on taking C.O.C form out of fear, then goodluck to you...
