Your S3 AT&T had WCDMA sir... The LTE you were always seeing was WCDMA, that's how it is with these branded phones, you'll only see LTE and EDGE, no 3G...but the LTE is actually 3G, no network in Nigeria has 4G,

So YES, the S4 active has WCDMA, although like your previous S3 you'll only be seeing LTE on the phone
