Apart from the money the make from collecting ransoms and through extortion, FARC also produces and sells vast quantities of illegal drugs that further fuel their high annual revenue.

They appear to be the most active this year alone bombing bus parks in Abuja, kidnapping over 200 girls, countless bombings and shooting up schools. They are real bad ass! They make their money from kidnappings and ransom. And it is estimated that they have collected up to $70 million from 2006 – 2011 alone.
