"This insurgency shouldn’t have lasted even six months. Within weeks, we (Obasanjo and I) crushed it because we did not neglect military training and, of course, we did not lack the leadership and the capacity to take decisions. I told Nigerians that he [Jonathan] did not have the capacity; he didn’t have the experience. He didn’t have anything and yet they gave him the chance, the opportunity. And they can now see the chance and the opportunity they gave him. Of course, I’m more experienced than he is. I believe my capacity cannot be compared with his, in all respect.” he said

The simple questions every sane Nigerian should ask about GEJ capacity as it relates to 2015 elections are: where has he worked before his foray into politics, what are his achievements, even as a politician before he became the president.

All along we have been having accidental president right from the day of Shagari. We have never been opportuned to have a president who has really done his home work with a good understanding of the system. It is high time we stopped voting for people without pedigree. Let us allow someone with real interest even when the chance is so bleak rather than queuing behind a mere opportunist.

This insecurity that the opposition keeps using as a yardstick to judge this govt is becoming to much and when they are accused of using the insecurity in some part of the country to their own advantage or that they sponsor, they get angry. Its as if they don't really sympathize with Nigerians on this problem. But that's me thinking aloud so please I wouldn't like to be insulted. Concerning the experienced issue, GEJ as a former dep gov, gov, VP and now president for 5years now is more experienced than any other aspirant among them. So if its in the area of experience, then he will win them hands down.

Atiku was just bragging. First, what is Atiku Educational background? Is Atiku a University graduate? If Atiku does not have degree or at best stagemanaged to obtain one,then he should know its not a joke to have a PHD. Second,what is the source of his wealth? Which working experience has he? He was in Customs all his life! Which positive achievement did he and Obasanjo recorded together except GSM. It is and open secret that Atiku used the opportunity of Obasanjo first term to amass wealth!! So Nigerians,pls ask Atiku which experience is he talking about?
