I can just imagine how former Manchester United coach David Moyes would feel right now. I am so sure he was laughing at United over their performance against Leicester on Sunday. United have started this season worse than they did under Moyes. Statistically Moyes performance as at this stage last season is better than that of Louis van Gaal. Van Gaal has bought players worth a total of £150 million, been handed a gentle list of fixtures to begin the campaign and was afforded breathing room from the pressure of continuing Sir Alex Ferguson's legacy. After five matches last season, Moyes's United were seven points (table above, left) and three points in the Champions League. This term Van Gaal lies 12th with just five points (above right). Wonder what would have happened if Van Gaal inherited a league winning team and not a demoralised team. Would people still have been making these useless comparisons  |

D board can't afford to throw him out just yet else we bcome Chelsea/Real Madrid. D fact that we could attract top stars even without champions league football is a testament to the LVG charisma.
