Paderborn midfielder Moritz Stoppelkamp scored a ridiculous 90 yard goal (83-meter) against Hannover 96, breaking the record for the longest goal in the Bundesliga in a 2-0 victory over Hannover.
Paderborn held a one goal advantage with only seconds left on the clock, and a late Hannover free-kick saw them send the goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler forward as they searched desperately for an equalizer. I hate when keepers leave their post for things like this ehn...Unfortunately for Hannover, Stoppelkamp who, on the edge of his own box, chested the ball down, turned and volleyed the ball 83 meters down the pitch and into the empty goal.
