On the 24/09/2014,, Update naija gathered that some numbers of the kidnapped Chibok girls has been reportedly released by the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents,Chibok girls kidnapped in April by Boko Haram sect ,officials disclosed. According to the reports that reached us from a Military source,it states that two Toyota Hiace buses filled with teenage girls arrived Maimalari Barracks, the headquarters of the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri,yesterday evening. As a result of this development, there were needs to contact Defence Spokesperson.

When contacted, Defence Spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, confirmed that the news was authentic. He however asserted that the exercise was still in progress and rounding up his statement he said that appropriate statement would be made available soon to reduce the level of uncertainty. It was on the 14 of April when over 200 teenagers were kidnapped from their secondary school in Chibok, Borno State, fast forward to september 2014 the issue is still on ground.We just hope that this news is true.

No Chibok Girls Released; The Ones That Escaped Abductions Are Heading To New Schools In Kaduna -Borno State Govt A government source in Maiduguri has revealed to SaharaReporters that the school girls sighted in Maimalari barracks today were not freshly released by Boko Haram as being speculated.

The girls, 34 in number had earlier escaped from Boko haram militants in April as they were being driven away from the scene of the massive abductions in Chibok. The Borno state government said the girls were heading to new schools secured from them in Kaduna with full military escort.
