Suspected Pro- Fayose Thugs Allegedly Flog Judge In Ekiti Court by kennydee05(m): 5:42pm On Sep 25, 2014 |
It was another drama in Ekiti State on Thursday morning when suspected thugs stormed the State High Court, allegedly flogging a Judge and chasing out lawyers who were in the premises to perform their constitutional duty. DailyPost authoritatively gathered that the Judge, simply identified as Justice Adeyeye met the hoodlums who besieged the court premises, singing war songs and in an attempt to escape from the hands of the thugs, got flogged until sympathizers rescued him from the hands of the hoodlums. Lawyers were not left out, as some of them were chased out of the premises and also beaten. DailyPost recalls that the Judiciary in Ekiti State has been witnessing unrest since Tuesday, following Justice Segun Ogunyemi’s pronouncement that the court possesses the jurisdiction to hear a suit filed against the integrity of the State Governor-Elect, Mr. Ayodele Fayose by the Ekiti E-11.
