But many of us who had good grades in sciences then didn't study medicine.
There was this guy who we adjudged the overall best who ended up studying sociology.
But i was the best then in Biology, our teacher would tell me to teach the whole class a new topic because I study ahead of the syllabus.

Ababio is the best, though it is big.
It is of the same size as Modern biology. I used it in 1988/89 and made A3.
Its unfortunate that my Ghanian friends whose author came from there don't know the Book. The prices varies, Original copy or pirated copy and the time of purchase.

i remember Nelcon (physics text book)is good too.

I am really really missing that textbook alongside Nelkon(physics).Back there in 9ja,i didnt take chemistry serious and the subject teacher too was a character but the day i came across ALMIGHTY ABABIO,my chemistry changed 4 good and i am missing its absence because because of the complicated course i am now doing.

This post is bringing back so many memories. I remember Ababio - a real lifesaver. I also used Modern Biology and Principles of Physics. Thank God my days of JAMB and WAEC are over forever!

Hmmm.u guyz make me remember Ababio. there was this textbook i was using, can't event remember the name self, but the name of the author is something Lambert. I didnt understand the book until i discovered Ababio. Is the Ababio guy from Ghana ?

In my secondary school days. S.S 1 to be precise. Most of us in our class prefer reading Ababio to listening to the chemistry teacher. We did that tillhe was changed.

Ababio's story was just too much for me so I did what I did to Nelkon to the book

What? I got a small book that distilled all of Ababio's knowledge into few pages: AFOLAYAN Secondary School Chemistry or something like that sha and I got A2 in Chemistry. Got Okeke instead of Nelkon and made A3 in Physics.
