heavenmade: Good.I wish nigeria would use this opportunity to strengthen her ties with Russia and become its permanent allyNot only Russia... Including China, India and a host of many other countries in the East. If we put our hope solely on Russia they would be no different from Europe and America. We are turning East not just military but economically. |

We need to forget about USA and Brittian and make China, North Korea and Russia our close allies. America and Brittian are not sincere with Nigeria predicting Nigeria disintegration in 2015. America will disintegrate in 2020 in Jesus name. 1 Like |

cirmuell: Kindly remove North Korea from your list, thanks. Why? The North Koreas are also very skillful in weapons production & granite mining. Forget all the bad news the western media are feeding us about North Korea. Even Pakistan once offer to train our military and supply arms, I am very glad our government didn't turn down that offer. We shouldn't look down on any country because of what we hear in Western media, That's none of our business. We should focus on our personal interest. Pakistan offers to train Nigerian soldiers(2012) http://www.punchng.com/news/pakistan-offers-to-train-nigerian-soldiers/ Nigeria to partner North Korea to develop the huge granite deposits in the country http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/nigeria-south-africa-partner-to-develop-gold-mining/180523/ |

basty: We need to forget about USA and Britian and make China, North Korea and Russia our close allies. Please scratch North Korea out of your list. Nigeria needs to be careful in its relationship with Communist nations. Yes, the US government and their allies can't be allowed to bully us but we still need the western nations more than any other bloc. |

Frankenstein: Please scratch North Korea out of your list. Nigeria needs to be careful in its relationship with Communist nations. Frankenstein: Any weapons deal with North Korea can lead to heavy sanctions and possible US boots within our borders. The WMDs excuse can always be reapplied.Isn't China a Communist nation? Yet most of our fighter jets and weapons are from China. They should come and sanction us na! In 2005 it was reported that Nigeria has approved $251 million USD to purchase 15 Chengdu F-7 fighters from China. Nigerian pilots began their training in China in 2008, delivery of the aircraft began in 2009. I don't think they can just jump in with sanctions because of a military deal with North Korea, It is all about personal interests. India have replaced the US as the largest buyer of our shale oil, we have started exporting liquefied Natural Gas(LNG) to Turkey. Which sector of our economy will the west placed sanctions on? oil sector? The East are now our Major customers. Even if they can successfully sanctioned us isn't that enough reason to turn East. I don't know how we will do this but we should completely reduced our dependence on the west(EU and the US especially). The world is watching closely, No US boots can step into our country without good explanation, We are not Iraq! The WMD excuse is stale. They should first send their boots to North Korea or Iran, Those are the countries developing WMDs . |
