Google is providing the same great service that your dictionary is providing. You need not to be romancing your dictionary all the time to check for new and old words meaning, pronunciation, part of speech, word origin etc. by typing “define (word)” into the normal Google search bar, e.g. “define physics” and immediately you will see everything that you need to know about physics. This covers meaning, languages and the pronunciation features of words in another language is all possible to be sure of how its being pronounce by clicking the small speaker icon that will be presented alongside with the word.

For example, you can search for the translation of house in French by just typing “translate house to
French” and you will see the translation.

search page or bar and type like “convert (value) (unit) to (new unit you want)” e.g. “convert 10km to mi.” there will appear the result and the accurate conversion rate will be shown to you to see. you can

Another special thing about Google’s algorithms is the ability to get the result of your request according to what you have in mind. Imagine, you want to list some websites or anything but you have known some of the results already, you can make use of this service to exclude those ones you’ve known without stress and they will give way for you to select the new ones you want to.

All you have to do is to add the minus (-) symbol after words you like to search for and then right the one you wish to exclude. e.g., you want to get the list of countries in Africa and you know Nigeria before, all you will have to do is to type “ Africa Countries – Nigeria” and you will be best satisfied with the result you are going to receive.
