SECOND EBOLA CASE reported, schoolchildren exposed

News has broken that a second person is under observation with a possible case of Ebola in Dallas. Also, the Ebola patient at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital was likely in contact with several school-age children.

Dallas police may already be securing the hospital where Ebola patients are thought to be under observation. If Ebola is so hard to catch, why all the official response?

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - As swiftly as the disease has appeared in the United States, there are new fears it may already be out of control. Officials from the Centers for Disease Control as well as other government officials are trying to reassure a frightened public that the outbreak is contained.

It has been revealed that patient, Thomas Eric Duncan is the first American to develop full-blown Ebola on American soil, although he contracted the disease on a trip to Liberia. Worse, it is believed he has put several others, including multiple children at risk. A second person is also under observation.

It is time to pray for our nation, as we fall under the apathy of our leaders.

Officials from the CDC are now trying to find out who he may have contact with since arriving in the United States.

According to records, Duncan arrived in the US on September 20, already infected, but without showing any symptoms. It is believed that Ebola is not contagious during this time. However, when he developed symptoms on September 26, he reported to the hospital which did not ask him if he had recently traveled. Reportedly, Duncan did tell one person on the hospital staff he had recently returned from Africa, but that information was not passed along to other hospital staff. Instead, Duncan was sent home with antibiotics.

Within two days, Duncan's illness become so debilitating that he had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. The ambulance crew and others who worked with him are being sought for evaluation and possible quarantine.

In all, Duncan spent four days showing symptoms of the disease and interacting with others.

During the interval of time before his latest hospital visit, Duncan is believed to have had contact with five children who may have themselves contracted the disease. Although Ebola is supposedly difficult to catch, it seems to have had little problem propagating across Western Africa and may now have infected others in the United States.

The children who had contact with Duncan are not being quarantined, although their schools have reportedly been staffed with extra personnel to monitor for any possible outbreak and to answer questions parents and the public might have.

In addition, a second adult is under observation. This second person is believed to be a "close associate" of Duncan.

Ebola may take between four days to three weeks to manifest itself in a victim. That means anyone who had contact with Duncan will have to be monitored for at least three weeks before they can be cleared. If a second person is showing symptoms of the disease, then all associates of that person will also need to be monitored.

The disease is also transmittable through sexual contact for up to seven weeks after a person is supposedly cured.

It should be clear to all just what we are dealing with and that despite all claims that Ebola is difficult to catch and can be easily contained in the modern American healthcare system, the disease is actually much more contagious and difficult to control than the mainstream media is saying.

What this means is that after a victim must have been cured and discharged from hospital, the virus is still in the some parts of the body like the sperm and still transferable through sexual interval, that is why cured males are asked not to engage in sexual intercourse (or at least, use condom) until after about three months after cure, this is when a cured victim can be said to have been fully cured.

Males that have recovered from Ebola are advised to abstain from s3x as the virus still remains active in the sperm for 7 weeks after the initial 3 weeks

Seriously the government should place a travel ban on the US. Issuance of visa to anyone residing in the US should be suspended for now, until nigeria ministry of health certify that they are Ebola free.

We have our own problems, we don't want the US to add their own.

If not for anything we will flex that we are able to put travel ban on any country that does not meet our standard

Borno state alone is bigger than belgium, croatia ,england, holland.
