In the article the following was suggested to help people feel at home in a new business environment.

The Boss, Leader, President are encouraged to do the following,

#1. Share an embarrassing story of yourself

It could be what happened sometime time ago so that your followers, new recruits can see you are not perfect and you were once like them.

#2. Be humble and it’s ok to make mistakes

Don’t act perfect it encourages ingenuity, let the see how real you are so they too can start being real like you. It will help them speak up when they have new ideas and that is definitely a plus for you business or cause.

#3. Encourage innovation

Bring up wired ideas and watch their responses, don’t act like you know it all. Give them opportunity to provide answers, create solutions and ideas.

Choose their ideas over yours, you may lose the spotlight but it’s the best for your business because they will start innovating without you. You are the Boss what do you have to prove to them?

Damn right, someone has to show the way, people are too scared and don’t dare touch ideas or thoughts without someone holding their hand to lead them across that bridge. It has always been like this throughout mankind’s history, many following one person, sometimes for good causes, but most of the time for bad causes.
This is why democracy is bad, there is always more idiots than intellectuals. And in a democracy, the idiots always win. Bring back monarchy and I will show you how to run a country properly, GOD’s law reigns supreme.
