So so sad, in a country of over 160 million, does it mean this is the best 22 players we can get from across the country, the entire team should be over-hauled or disbanded, a new technical adviser (foreign) should be employed, football is one of the opium that unite Nigerians, enough of this heart break by Keshi and his technical crew..........l am sure some local players can play better than these bunch of super eagles, no hunger, in-accurate passes etc............so sad....... embarassed

Oboabona is from Ondo state. You don't realise that whoever is not Hausa or Yoruba is definitely Igbo to them. Just imagine someone bringing tribe to this game

It's such a pity, to be honest.
If your name doesn't have an Ahmed, or begin with an Ola-, Olu-, Ade-, Ayo- or Akin-something-something, you're automatically Igbo.
The ignorance is spine-chilling!

Not ike uche whether he picks uche is irrelevant he needs to assemble better players regardless of their names you just saw raw players from sudan beat ur best legs from europe sudan played better than nigeria so did congo what does that say I would have even prefer to see the chan players at least they have more pasion than these bunch
Exactly, I am tired of seeing attackers on the wings. Musa is not a natural winger, Salami is a striker not a winger. Osaze is not a winger, Emenike plays on the wings some times.

Keshi should bring in players like Uzoenyi.

Our team is too heavy. It is high time Keshi knows it does not work that way. We can go with Uchebo, Salami, Ideye, Ameobi, Emenike, Osaguona.

He should select the best among them which looks like Osaguona and drop the rest.

I wonder when Coach Keshi stopped possession football. That was his thing at the nations cup. Now we are playing up balls that result to nothing.

I wonder why he keeps using Mikel Obi, Is there no other better Nigeria Player in that role? Keshi have lost it.... No foresight

I hope all the yeye football analysts rooting for Keshi can now feel happy with themselves.

The Alex Ferguson-Jose Mourinho-Arsene Wenger of African football has showed his hand.

They should give him a 10-year contract.

Maybe because no other midfielder can pay him as much as Mikel.

Why does Mikel always get blamed. Mikel was our best player on the field today. The question is how did Emenike miss a ball that came straight to his leg after the Goal Keeper spilled the ball.

I remember Efan Ekoku missing a chance like that and Coach Westerhof subbed him and Yekini became the regular hitman for the team.

That miss should be the pause of Emenike's career with the Super Eagles. I repeat, Osaguona should have started this game.

You have a point but you don't know where some of these guys are from?

Efetobore Ambrose is an Urhobo boy and Oboabuna is not from Edo state bro cheesy

Oh, my bad. I happened upon a magazine once, that listed our players and their mini-biographies, and I could have sworn it said Efe was 'Edoid'.
Thanks for the corrections all the same wink

Edit: Just browsed a little. Efetobore really is from Delta. Raised in Kaduna. Cool! cool
