To those who encouraged me when my name didn't come out , thank u. To those who taught I won't make d list, thank u. Here is a social media, where our real attitude,personality, are hidden. [b]Association of fresh students' Union(AFSU). It has been brought to our notice as freshers,that the management of the Great Obafemi Awolowo University out of their Magnanimity asked us to resume school on the 28th and 29th of may since 8th Of August when we wrote our entrance exam. The range between those respective period couldn't have been spent in idleness,so most of the member of the Union deemed it fit to engage in some sort of Petty trading, apprenticeship,laboring and more of it. The union is hereby taking it as a point of duty to fight and protect the interest of her members by saying a capital NO to resumption on this days due to the fact that some of the members of the union who engaged in apprenticeship of some kind are yet to do their freedom,those involved in Petty trading just ordered for goods which are yet to arrive in spite of the present state of the Economy of the country,those involved in labour(Brick laying in particular) just got contracts in the likes of areas in Lekki,Gbagada,GRA e.t.c. We hereby deem it fit to give out our stand to the Management. *Resumption should be postponed Indefinitely. *The new resumption should be communicated for approval by the Union. *The senate and bodies involved in deciding the new resumption date should give a minimum period of three months for preparation of the union Members for the new resumption. *The new resumption date should be in favour of all Freshers which are currently hustling in the labour Market. An Injury to one is an injury to all,we say no to all forms of Resumption oppression against our hustling,we refuse to Cotour in POhor of the management. Aluta continua, Victoria ascerta.
