I have seen some really fabulous Ankara fabrics made up into some fantastic designs lately. Even Evening wear. I think its absolutely amazing what is being done with these fabrics nowadays. Ankara is most def no longer only for lapas

@mohawkchick. The colours are amazing Perfect for Hot December days in Naija. I found this one when I was looking for fabric on the Vlisco site. They have hollandais, Java, Wax prints all in some amazing designs and colours.
