unclothedness: A Culture or Attitude?

Over the recent times, lots of confusion have emanated among the religious faithfuls in quering God's standard in the act of unclothedness. When you ponder over the rate at which humans celebrate their nudity this days, you will be convinced to ascertain If God has final moral say over unclothedness.

Fundamentally, Nudity has perfectly been acceptable, legitimate and righteous ever since the ancient generation as culture. Nudity became part of Olympic tradition as far back as 1100BC.

Rev. Martin Wadestone, author of "Nudism and Christianity," writes: "Actually, in the light of the Bible, there is no sin in nudity itself; but if a person uses the nudity for lustful or immoral purposes he has misused it, and this constitutes a sin. The Bible does not speak against nudity nor does it teach that the body is shameful. There is reference to shame in nudity, but this shame was produced in the mind of man, not by divine ordination."

Many of us may be unaware that nudity is a normal condition that has prevailed throughout most of mankind's existence. Anything from complete unclothedness to casual body covering was a lifestyle component from prehistoric times through the Greco- Roman civilizations and into part of the Middle Ages.

Even today, in various remote areas of the warmer climes, naked societies persist as primitive tribes whose members do not wear clothes. These societies point up, among other things, how drastically our attitudes toward nudity and social organization have changed throughout human history.

Unfortunately, modern civilization's puritanical laws of decency have labeled unclothed tropical-zone cultures as offensive and inferior. Missionaries have effectively forced compliance with western dress codes wherever primitive cultures are found and term unclothedness as SIN.

The matter arising is, Adam and Eve were nude when they were created and they weren't even aware of it until they partook of the Tree of Knowledge. Why does nudity become a sin simply because we are aware of it? Is this not our natural state?

In this modern day, people trade with their unclothedness. Please is it a SIN and why is it SIN?

There
are places in the body and they are devided into two parts:
Private=meant to be seen only by the owner.

Public= can be seen by people e.g head, eye, ear, hands, toes and etc

But recently, western esposure of the fact that one can actually expose
the privates opposes our culture which makes it uncultural and becomes an attitude when a person decides to continue doing that which opposes the acceptable norm.

It is not a sin to be n..aked,afterall couples go nude while doing the
do,we go unclad while bathing,we go unclad while creaming the body..What makes it sinful is the fact that some people expose their nudity intentionally to lure and seduce which often leads to unpleasant results except if done in a marital/acceptable environment.

True we were created unclad, but we had no knowledge of it until Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit and realised there's a shame in being unclad...

but we were created naked... its when eve and Adam were deceived that their eyes became open, and they were ashamed of being naked cheesy before, they were okay with it. that's why people see being naked as a sin.... makes me wonder; if God created us naked, then why would he be angry at people who go naked... ? embarassed (not supporting going naked tho, coz I can't Even do that!! )
