By and large, the main thrust of buhari's campaign project is eliminating corruption.
But then, eliminating corruption for the heck of it will not cut it.
It has to be systematic and in tandem with the realities of the 21st century.
I dare say a 1983 style anti-corruption campaign will drive out foreign investments and stagnate Nigeria's growth.
North korea has very low levels of corruption, but poor nonetheless.
To the crux of the matter, what are buhari's economic ideologies?
How does he intend on shaping our economy and in what direction?
Is he pro-socialism or ,capitalism?
These are the most importance questions that Nigerians are not asking.
The major difference between poor and rich countries is more or less the soundness and efficiency of their economic pathways.
Infact, the greatest 'cure' to corruption is an efficient economic
system.
I am a detribalized Nigerian with no political bias or preference for any politician.
So the pro-buhari people in this forum should educate me.
What is buhari's economic plan for Nigeria?

Even Buhari don't know what Buharinomics stands for, but we can always check his friend, Amendijad's economic policy,

@OP,
Rewind to 1984.

Mr. Ben is an owner of a supermarket.
He recently got some goods from his distributors.
He was in his shop as usual attending to customers.
A customer came in and asked how is a tin of peak milk? Ben told told him the amount.
He asked for some other items to which Ben replied.
The customer bought an item and left the shop.

within three minutes, he was back, with some other people, including police and soldiers.
They are the task force on price reduction.

The Military regime has fixed prices of goods.
It does not matter ho you bought, you must sell at the particular fixed price.

People were arrested and jailed.

That was how Buhari brought down costs of goods.

perhaps, that would be his policy on price of goods.

Exactly what my father told me.He said his economic policies were crude.
And how did he reduce the amount of money in circulation?
By changing our currency with a maximum of N5,000 to be given to anyone
even if you have N30,000,000 in the bank.Buhari is very crude.

... after Nigeria became a pariah state and we were isolated due to Buhari's crude economic and bad foreign policy, he could not sell Nigeria's only product, oil to the world. So, Buhari decided that the best economic policy to adopt for Nigeria in the 20th century was "Trade by Barter".

In his current campaign, Buhari has said nothing about his economic plans, except fighting corruption. My biggest concern with his core plan of fighting corruption is compromised by his relationship with a corrupt Tinubu. So, under Buhari's regime, Nigeria may be directionless economical and socially
