Edet Nkpubre was the Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) South/South zone. Since leaving office, Nkpubre has remained so passionate about developments in his state, especially as they affect the Oron Nation. In this interview with journalists in Uyo, the former PDP chieftain says for peace to reign, the tripod that defines Akwa Ibom State has to be respected.
